CHILDREN’S CHOIR PRACTICE:
Today, immediately following services, there will be a Children’s Choir Practice. Please meet in the East hallway (with the water fountains).
FOT NOTEBOOK:
Referring to the Feast of Tabernacles white notebook on the Information Table, the notebook contains a list of all Feast sites, but basic write-ups only of the U.S. Feast sites. U.S. and International site write-ups, are also available on-line at fot2018.lcg.org. If you don’t have on-line access, or are unable to print, and would like a print-out of a site, please see Mr. Damon.
PIONEER CLUB & TEEN ACTIVITY RE-SCHEDULED:
The Pioneer Club & Teen Activity will be held tomorrow, Sunday April 29th in Shelter #2 at Pink Hill Park, Blue Springs, Missouri. Pioneer Club will meet at 12:00 Noon in Shelters #2, followed by a hike at Burr Oaks Park (right next to Pink Hill Park). The Pioneer club members will have a “Bring your own lunch” after the meeting & hike. IF you want to eat prior to the activity you can do so, or perhaps bring a snack for afterwards, that would be fine as well. The Teen Activity will begin at 2:00 PM with a “Bring your own lunch” or snack, followed by Ultimate Frisbee for the whole family as well as the Pioneer Club kids & family. For the Ultimate Frisbee activity, we would like to open this up to young adults as well. Shelter #2 has been reserved from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM.

MONTH OF MAY BIBLE STUDY UPDATE:
We resume our monthly Bible Studies this next Wednesday, May 2nd, at the new location, the Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 N. Dodgion Street, Independence, MO 64050 (southeast corner of Truman & Noland roads). Doors will open at 7:00 PM, with Bible Study starting at 7:30 PM. UPDATE: We will be meeting in the 4th floor meeting room. When you enter the building, go past the reception desk, then down the hall to the elevator, and go up to the 4th floor. There is only one room on the 4th floor which is where Bible Study will be. If asked by the reception person, advise you are going to the 4th floor meeting room.
CHURCH CAMP-OUT:
The annual Church Camp-Out is now planned for the 4-day Memorial Day Weekend, from Friday, May 25th through Monday, May 28th. We are excited to announce a NEW LOCATION this year: The private Longview Group Camp on the east side of Perry Lake, located near Ozawkie, Kansas, 20 miles northeast of Topeka. The Longview Camp offers a shelter house, electric sites, shower house, disk golf course, fishing, and bicycling & hiking trails. THE COST FOR CAMPING IS $15 PER NIGHT, ELECTRICITY INCLUDED, FOR EITHER AN RV OR A TENT. A water-fill and a dumping-station are available.
