PARENTS, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE? (Repeat Announcement)
We have had some issues with your children playing (or rough-housing) in the hallways, particularly in the East Hallway. Children should not be in the East Hallway unless there for a Youth Bible Lesson, or using the drinking fountains, or exiting the building. Parents, please be aware of your children’s location and their activities.
COMBINED SPOKESMAN/GRAD CLUB LADIES-NIGHT – TONIGHT:
The Combined Club Ladies-Night Banquet will be held tonight at the Truman Memorial Building, 416 W Maple Ave, Independence, MO 64050. We have the Presidential A/B rooms reserved from 6:00 PM onward, with dinner being served at 7:00 PM. If you’re not assigned to set-up duty, plan to arrive by 6:30 PM when appetizers will be served. For questions, see your club’s President, or for assignments and what to bring information, check with your club’s Secretary or look on-line at kclcg.org.
YOUTH BIBLE CLASS – April 13:
The Youth Bible Class will meet next Sabbath, April 13th, to cover Lesson #7.
UPDATED OPTIONS FOR NTBMO – APRIL 19:
1) The Bodes have reserved a private room for the Night-To-Be-Much-Observed at EM Chamas, a Brazilian steak house located in the KC northland. They have used this restaurant several times in the past. On an information table in the hall will be a sign-up sheet, along with flyers regarding the location, meal information, and the total cost for various meal choices.
2) The Covered-Dish Meal at The Cass-Browning Community Center NTBMO has reached capacity and is NOW CLOSED. ALL brethren attending that evening, PLEASE sign-up at the Information Table, indicating what side dish and unleavened item you will be bringing.
3) You may wish to make your own NTBMO plans, such as with a small group in a relatively quiet room at a quality restaurant, or in your own home.

NO CHILD-CARE DURING PASSOVER SERVICE: Child care during the Passover Service will NOT be provided at the meeting hall this year. If you haven’t yet been able to secure child-care while you attend the Passover Service, please see Gary or Gwen Jones today and they will try to help you make arrangements.
PASSOVER SERVICE: Thursday evening, April 18th, Hilton Garden Inn Convention Center, 19677 E Jackson Dr, Independence, MO 64057 (Large Meeting Room adjacent to Hereford House). Set-up starts at 6:30 PM, doors open for brethren at 7:30, service starts at 8:00.
NTBMO: Friday evening, April 19th, as described separately in the announcements.
FIRST DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD: One service, Saturday, April 20th, 1:00 PM, at our normal Sabbath location, Sycamore Hills Elementary School; an offering will be taken up.
LAST DAY OF UNLEAVENED BREAD: Two services, Friday, April 26th, 10:30 AM & 2:30 PM, Gladstone Community Center, 6901 N Holmes St, Gladstone, MO 64118 (about 4 blocks east of 69th St & N Oak Trafficway); an offering will be taken up during the AM service.
CHURCH PICNIC – JUNE 2:
Looking ahead to the month of June, our annual Church picnic is scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, at the same location as for the past several years, Baumgardner Park in Blue Springs, MO. Plan ahead by putting the picnic on your calendar! Further details will follow next month.
