THANK YOU FROM THE BODES:
This update from Linda Bode: Steve and I want to thank all of you for your prayers. I went to the doctor this week to follow up on my blood work done 3 weeks ago. He told me all the tests that previous showed positive for bone marrow cancer, are now negative! The doctor has never seen these markers disappear before. He didn’t understand how that happened. We understand! God heard everyone’s prayers and healed me. Steve and I are so thankful to God and to all of you for your prayers.
YOUTH BIBLE CLASS – AUGUST 18:
The Youth Bible Class will meet next Sabbath, August 18th, and will cover Lesson #11.
TEEN ACTIVITY – AUGUST 19:
There will be a Teen Activity on Sunday, August 19th, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 4509 Tyer Road, Grain Valley, MO (home of Taylor & Margie Jones). This will be a teen-only activity in order to give the teens some time to fellowship together. There will be swimming and other outdoor activities such as Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball. Teens are encouraged to bring their favorite snack to share. Parents can feel free to drop their teens off, or come and stay with their teens. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Bobby Jacques.
SPOKESMAN/GRADUATE CLUB SIGN-UP:
As the summer is quickly progressing, its time to begin planning for the Fall 2018 Spokesman & Graduate Club. A first meeting to be penciled-in will be in the month of October. Please sign-up online at kclcg.org under the resource tab. As an incentive to the first 10 who sign-up, they can pre-choose their assignment, whether you would like to do a speech, an evaluation or leave it blank, thereby passing the opportunity to another. This only applies to the first 10 who sign-up. We’re looking forward to a full roster this year, so register early to assure your space in this year’s Club.
