ONE MORE PANERA BREAD VOLUNTEER NEEDED:
So far, we had ONE volunteer sign-up for Panera bread & bagel duties! However, ONE MORE volunteer (from the eastern part of the Metro) would allow the rotation of duties, such as every quarter. Duties include picking up and wrapping the bread products each Thursday night, then bringing them to Sabbath services. The bread would have to be picked up from the Blue Springs Panera restaurant just off of Adams Dairy Rd. & I-70 at 9:00 PM each Thursday. At your home, it would typically take less than an hour for two people to wrap the items. Please consider this opportunity to serve your brethren! If you can volunteer, please talk to Mr. or Mrs Dave Ostrom, or to Mr. or Mrs. David Manning.
ONE MORE STRONG BACK NEEDED FOR HYMNALS:
So far, we had ONE strong-back volunteer sign-up for Hymnal duties! However, ONE MORE volunteer would allow switching off every few months to allow their backs to recover. Duties include storing the hymnals in one’s home, and bringing them to & from services each weekly Sabbath & annual Holy Day. One person has been doing this week after week, unfailingly, without complaint, for many, many years. For the sake of his back, it is time for this duty to be passed on to others! If you can serve in this way, please see Dave Ostrom or Jay Seaman.
