PRAYER REQUEST – VIRGINIA MORGAN
Some of you may already know of Virginia Morgan’s declining health status. Virginia has dementia, is bed-ridden, and is now on hospice-care. Your prayers, brethren, for both Virginia and Lemly would be greatly appreciated.
SENIOR LUNCHEON AT OZARKS FEAST SITE:
The Lake of the Ozarks Festival Coordinator, Dr. Richard Franz, has clarified that the Senior’s Luncheon on September 25th, for seniors age 55 and above, is FREE, but you still have to Register for the Senior’s Luncheon (along with any other Activities). For KC brethren attending the Ozarks Feast site, who don’t have on-line computer access, please give to Mr. George Damon a list of Activities you wish to attend, and he will perform the Activities Registration for you.
BIBLE STUDY AT BEST WESTERN – SEPTEMBER 5:
Our next monthly Bible Study will be Wednesday, September 5th, beginning at 7:30 PM. Doors will be open at least by 7:00 PM. LOCATION CHANGE (AGAIN)! We will meet at the Best Western Plus Hotel, 4825 NE Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, located between Lakewood Blvd and Woods Chapel Road on the East side of Hwy 291, directly behind the Summit Grill & Bar. Please attend if at all possible!
AFTER-FEAST TEEN ACTIVITY:
Attention all teens: We will not have a teen activity for the month of September due to the Fall Holy Days and Feast; however, our next scheduled activity will be October 27th. The activity will be following services with dinner and an outdoor movie! Mark your calendars now! More information to follow in October.

SPOKESMAN/GRADUATE CLUB SIGN-UP:
It’s time to begin planning for the Fall 2018 Spokesman & Graduate Club. A first meeting will be after the Feast in the month of October; date to be determined. Please sign-up online at kclcg.org under the Resource tab, selecting the appropriate category, Spokesman or Graduate. As an incentive to the first 10 who sign-up, they can pre-choose their assignment, whether a speech, an evaluation, or just leave it blank (thereby passing the opportunity to another). This only applies to the first 10 who sign-up. We’re looking forward to a full roster this year, so register early to assure your space in this year’s Club.
