HOTLINE NOTIFICATION SYSTEM:
Situations like we had this past Sabbath, Dec 17th, make us aware how important it is that we keep our contact information current for our
Hotline Notification system. The church wants to ensure that all members are able to be contacted when necessary. Please contact Mr. or Mrs. Bode after church today (or
by phone or email as soon as possible) if any of these items apply, and you have not already given them your current information during this year:
If you have moved, changed your address, or changed your phone; or if you were NOT contacted about the cancellation this past Sabbath.
Steve Bode 816-468-7986; Linda Bode 816-785-9283; Steve’s email KCBanjonut@gmail.com
Hotline information is intended to be used for our Prayer Request Hotline or Distribution of Emergency Information when our church officials deem it necessary. Only the individuals responsible for contacting you will have your information from this list.
We plan on having all of the Hotline information updated and current before January 1st (just ahead). Your attention to this is greatly appreciated.
PRAYER REQUEST (David Hilgenberg):
Your prayers are requested for David Hilgenberg who suffered a gall-stone attack and acute pancreatitis on December 12th, was hospitalized, and had surgery last Sabbath to remove the gall bladder. David is currently at home recovering and doing well.
PRAYER REQUEST (Michael Wright):
As most of you know, via a Hotline prayer request last week, Michael Wright suffered a heart attack on Thursday, December 15th, was taken to the Leavenworth VA Med. Center, then moved to the Kansas City VA Med. Center. On Friday, a cardiovascular procedure was performed to assess the heart and surrounding vessels, where doctors were surprised to find NO scaring or blockage, often typical of a heart attack. Michael was released later on Friday for home, and is currently at the Charlotte Weekend with his family.
PRAYER REQUEST (Annie Wilson):
Since before Thanksgiving, Annie Wilson has had, and still has, ongoing bronchitis, a sinus infection, and a touch of pneumonia. There has been no significant improvement. Please pray for God’s urgent intervention, healing, and comfort for Annie.
COFFEE VOLUNTEERS (Repeat Announcement):
Stephen Erman will be working on the new coffee service schedule for 2017. Please let Stephen or Emily know by next Sabbath, December 17th, if you would like to be added to or removed from the current schedule. Either see them in person, or contact Stephen by phone at 816-806-2464 or by email at stephenerman@hotmail.com.
LECTERN VOLUNTEERS (Repeat Announcement):
We are looking for responsible young or middle-aged men to take care of our church lectern. Volunteers would be responsible for transport of the lectern to and from Sabbath services, and storage for one month periods on a rotating basis. If you are willing and able to serve in such a capacity, please sign the list on the information table or see Mr. David Ostrom.
