FOOD PANTRY THANK-YOU [Repeat Announcement]:
Thanks to all who have contributed to the Kansas City Church Food Pantry! We are no longer in need of food donations for the time-being. Announcements will be made in the future as that changes. Please contact Dave or Jan Ostrom if you, or a local member you know, is in need of assistance from the food pantry. We can help only if we know of the need!
LOCAL KC WEEKEND ITEMS:
A reminder to our Contest-of-Christians judges: We are having a Mexican dinner TONIGHT at the Keesees’ home at 5:00 PM, followed by previewing the games at 6:00 PM at the Centerline Gym in Blue Springs.
Also, we still need 3 or 4 more judges for the Contest-of-Christians during the KC Weekend’s Sunday activities. Please see Rachel Keesee if you would like to help out—and you’ll even get a free dinner and preview of the games TONIGHT.
Finally, if you would like to volunteer to be a scorekeeper or referee during the KC Weekend Sunday sports activities, please see Kirk Prince.
GRAD & SPOKESMAN CLUBS – DECEMBER 8 & 15:
The first meeting for Graduate Club is TONIGHT at the home of John Wells, 2329 NE Lake Breeze Lane, Lees Summit MO 64086, with doors opening at 6:00 PM and Club starting at 6:30. Next Saturday, December 15th, the [undergraduate] Spokesman Club will meet at the same location and same time. Assignments for both clubs can be found on the kclcg.org website under the Resource Center tab, then click on the Spokesman/Grad Club page.
PIONEERS CLUB – DECEMBER 9 & JANUARY 13:
The Pioneers Club Meeting (including the Pinewood Derby races!) will be held TOMORROW, Sunday, December 9th, starting at 10:00 AM, at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport, Hanger 11, 1071 Lou Holland Dr., Kansas City, MO 64116. If you have any questions, please see or contact Mr. Burson or Mr. Keesee. YOUTH BIBLE CLASS – DECEMBER 15:
The Youth Bible Class will meet next Sabbath, December 15th to cover Lesson #3.
TEEN ACTIVITY – JANUARY 12:
Looking ahead to early next year, teens mark your calendars for the next Teen Activity on Saturday evening, January 12th! This activity will be a dinner and a bowling-outing for teens and their families; more details to follow soon.
