Kansas City Local Announcements

February 25, 2017

PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE & THANK YOU:

The Ron & Beryl Wilson family would like to thank you for your prayers, telephone calls, and cards during all of our illnesses!  Barry is still recovering from an appendectomy, and has eight weeks to go in therapy for the broken left shoulder.  His wife, Lihong, is still recovering from the removal of the cancerous thyroid, but doing quite well.  We feel we have received God’s blessing of healing for everything we had to face in the early part of this year!

CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON CLASS:

The Children’s Bible Lesson Class will meet today to go over Lesson 4.  Please meet immediately after services in front of the stage.

MARCH BIBLE STUDY:

Bible Study will be Wednesday, March 8th, beginning at 7:30 PM, at the same location as the previous Bible Studies (and Spokesman Clubs), the Best Western Plus Hotel, 4825 NE Lakewood Way, in Lees Summit, located between Lakewood Blvd and Woods Chapel Road on the East side of 291, directly behind the Summit Grill & Bar.  Please attend if at all possible!

SPOKESMAN/GRADUATE CLUB:

The next Combined Spokesman/Graduate Club will be Saturday, March 4th, beginning at 6:30 PM, with doors opening at 6:00 PM, at the usual location, the Best Western Plus Hotel.  The next Club after that will be March 11th.  However, the Club originally scheduled for March 18th has been canceled due to the Church-wide fast.  Club assignments are posted and can be found on the local church website, kclcg.org, under the Resource tab.  If you are not able to access the assignment listing, or if you have an assignment but can’t attend Club on that particular night, please contact the Club’s Secretary, Mr. Dustin Gooding.
