PRAYER REQUEST:
Mrs. Annie Wilson would like to request your prayers on behalf of a family member who is in critical condition at the hospital. This family member has undergone several surgeries in the past weeks with little improvement.

Mr. Filbert: My daughter Teresa Gall has liver cancer. She got hepatitis C because of a blood transfusion about 36 years ago. It didn’t start effecting her till after 25 years. I would appreciate prayers for healing. Thank you very much.
TEEN/FAMILY DINNER & BOWLING – JANUARY 12:
After Church services today, teens & their families will begin the evening with a pizza dinner and fellowship at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Bobby Jacques, 1309 NW Hilltop Lane, Grain Valley, MO 64029; please bring a drink or dessert to share. Afterward, we have reservations for bowling at Diamond Bowl & Billiards, 218 N Osage St, Independence, MO 64050, from 7:30-9:30 PM. Teens will have their own lanes for bowling, and their families can bowl as well. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Faith Burson.
PIONEERS CLUB – JANUARY 13:
The first Pioneers Club meeting of the new year is tomorrow, Sunday, January 13th, at the home of Mr. Doug Burson. All those Pioneers from the previous year remember to bring your binder and gear in your back-pack (rope, knife, knife safety card, water bottle, …etc.). Please be prepared for the weather as a Pioneer is always ready for whatever comes.
YOUTH BIBLE CLASS – JANUARY 19:
The Youth Bible Class will meet next Sabbath, January 19th, to cover Lesson #4.
GRAD CLUB & SPOKESMAN CLUB – JANUARY 19 & 26:
The Graduate Club will meet next Saturday, January 19th, at the home of Mr. John Wells, 2329 NE Lake Breeze Lane, Lees Summit MO 64086. Doors will be open at 6:00 PM, with the meeting starting at 6:30 PM. The Regular [undergraduate] Spokesman Club will meet one week later, Saturday, January 26th, at the same location and same time frame. Assignments for both Clubs can be found on the kclcg.org website under the Resource Center tab, then click on the Spokesman/Grad Club page. A reminder that the “Three-T’s” (Topics, Toast, & Timer) are to bring snack & drink for the break.
FAYETTEVILLE ARKANSAS FAMILY WEEKEND – FEBRUARY 15-17
Registration is now open for the 2019 Fayetteville Family Weekend! This year we’re going to have it MADE IN THE SHADE as we take it back to the 50’s. Be sure to bring your COOL 50’s THREADS and join us!! Check in will begin Friday, February 15th, at Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville. This will, once again, be the central point for all weekend activities, including housing, Bible Study, Sabbath services, an Evening in the 1950’s and MANY MORE activities. Everyone is encouraged to stay on-site to experience the full weekend of food, fun and fellowship! The cost for housing per room is $95 per night. This price will include Sabbath continental breakfast, a 50’s Diner style dinner and dancing on Saturday evening, Sunday continental breakfast, and Sunday lunch.
