KANSAS CITY EMAIL ADDRESSES: The day before the January 8th, Wednesday night Bible Study, an email was sent out as a reminder of the Bible Study, of which only about 60% of the emails were opened. Although some of the remaining 40% simply were not opened, others came back as “un-deliverable.” In any case, the concern is that many email addresses may not be current. If you did not receive the previous email reminder, or know your email address has changed, please go to the kclcg.org website; under the Helpful Links tab, go to the page Update Email. Alternatively, provide your current email address to either Mr. Bobby Jacques or Mr. John Wells.
KC FAMILY WEEKEND SURVEY:
The dates for this year’s KC Family Weekend are tentatively December 25th thru 27th. That said, we’re already preparing! Last week, we sent out a survey via email to all previous participants in the KC Weekend. So far, we have around 50 responses, and we greatly appreciate your feedback! However, if you didn’t receive the email and would still like to share your opinion with us, there is a link on the kclcg.org website under the Helpful Links tab. This is your chance to let the organizers know what you like and what you’d like to see changed or updated. You can also suggest new activities in the Comments section. We appreciate your feedback and participation in the KC Weekend!
SPOKESMAN & GRAD CLUBS – JAN 25 & FEB 1:
The Spokesman & Grad Clubs will meet next Saturday night, January 25th (as a make-up meeting), and the following Saturday night, February 1st, both at the home of John & Paula Wells, 2329 NE Lake Breeze Lane, Lee’s Summit MO 64086 (John’s cell is 816-729-8990 in case you are delayed in arriving on time). Doors open at 6:00 PM; Club starts at 6:30 PM. Please find Club assignments posted on the KCLCG.org website under the Resource Center tab. As a reminder, the “Three-T’s” (Topics, Toast, & Timer) for each Club are to bring snacks & drinks for the break.
JOPLIN AMAZING RACE:
Joplin is holding the Amazing Race February 15-16
Please plan on enjoying an amazing family weekend.
Saturday, February 14th will have a bible study and church services at the Joplin church hall. Lunch will be on your own. Saturday evening will be a night at the mall. Everyone is welcome to enter their favorite booth at the food court in the shopping mall. Prizes will be awarded based on décor and taste of food. Also, the first part of the amazing race will begin, so make sure all your teammates are there.
Sunday will be a fun-packed day with the Amazing Race and for those who aren’t racing there will be activities at the Joplin Church Hall and of course lots of fellowship. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Sunday.

The new year for the Pioneers has begun. If your boy turns 7 by July 1st and desires to join inquire with Mr. Paul West for details and more information. Our first meeting will be January 26th. All Pioneer members should meet with Mr. Paul West after services for details in front of the stage. .
