DON’T MELT AWAY 5K – TOMORROW:
A final reminder that the Don’t Melt Away 5K is TOMORROW, Sunday, July 21st, at Waterfall Park, official address is 4501 S Bass Pro Drive, Independence, MO 64055, with the 5K Run starting at 8:00 AM and the Little Ice Cream Lover’s Run (for ages 12 and under) starting at 9:00 AM. PIONEER MEETING – JULY 28:
Another exciting Pioneer meeting is around the corner. We will be meeting at the Burson’s house at 8:30 next Sunday morning. We are starting early as this is a special meeting. The boys are going to experience space travel…kinda. Going to space takes time so we will start early. If all goes as planned the trip will take about 4 hours. Arrive on time so you don’t miss the action. We will be providing Peanut Butter Sandwiches just like they eat in space. Please bring you own beverages and alternative foods if you have a nut allergy. After the launch we will sort into recovery teams to chase down our GPS Video Recording system known as “The Payload”. Everyone should have received an email version of the book on June 3rd. Please review the information with your pioneer in advance. See you there and stay grounded between now and then.
