PRAYER REQUEST (FOR JEANNIE TRICE):

Jeannie Trice has two nodules on her thyroid, and is having a biopsy done on Monday, July 31st.  She is asking for prayers and God’s will that the nodules are not cancerous.

NO AUGUST BIBLE STUDY:

There will not be a Bible Study during the month of August.

PRAYER REQUEST AND CLARIFICATION (FOR BERYL WILSON):

This clarification & update from Ron Wilson:  As you recall, when Beryl tripped and fell last June 23rd, she split and broke the Humerus bone (upper arm bone) between the shoulder and elbow.  The bone was miss-aligned as shown on initial x-rays.  What you may not know is that on June 28th, after Beryl was anointed, another x-ray was taken with the two bones found to be aligned into proper position for healing.  We know that God performed this miracle of healing and blessed Beryl so surgery would not be necessary.  The surgeon was very surprised but happy that no surgery would be needed at that time.  The arm was stabilized in a sling, with pain at a level 10.  On July 12th another x-ray showed the arm break as being bonded together, with pain reduced to a level 5.  Another x-ray will be taken next Tuesday, August 1st, with the arm still stabilized in a sling.  We are extremely thankful for God’s healing and your prayers.  We are also thankful for the thoughtfulness shown by you, our brethren, for the excellent food, flowers, cards, and visits.  We ask for your continued prayers as the healing is anticipated to take several more weeks.

FOOD SIGN-UP LIST FOR BERYL WILSON:

We are continuing to put out a sign-up list for brethren willing & able to provide food dishes for Beryl Wilson & family during Beryl’s recuperation for her broken arm.  This food assistance will still be needed for several more weeks to come.  Pam Taylor and Pauline Jersett have offered to deliver food dishes brought to services on the Sabbath.  If you have questions, please see or call Mrs. Alice Damon (see bulletin for her phone number).

OZARKS FOT UPDATE:

In case you missed this memo last week, for brethren who have recently tried to register for the Feast in the Ozarks, but found the Ozarks site no longer listed, here is an explanation from the Ozarks Festival Coordinator, Dr. Richard Franz:  We are keeping Ozarks site off the list for the time being so that people cannot register for it.  We understand that some people who are assigned there will NEED to register there eventually.  But we just don’t want to add to confusion by letting people register (and potentially make reservations for housing) when things are in limbo).  Please know that as soon as this is resolved, we’ll return the Ozarks site back to the list so they’ll be able to register.

FEAST RIDE:

For the Feast in the Ozarks, Dana Brookbank, has yet to find a ride.  If you can accommodate her, please see or call our Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, cellphone 913-200-8662, to put you in touch with Dana.  We also now have one man who needs a ride to the Ozarks, so please see Mr. Damon if you can offer him a ride.
