Our next Bible Study will be Wednesday, July 10th, starting at 7:30 PM (with doors opening no later than 7:00 PM), at the Roger T. Sermon Center, Independence, MO, in the 4th floor meeting room.
FESTIVAL ASSISTANCE REQUEST FORMS – DUE NEXT WEEK:
If you are in need of financial assistance to attend the Feast this year, please obtain a form from Mr. George Damon or from one of the Elders. The properly completed form needs to be returned to Mr. Millich this next week to allow him to add his recommendations and/or comments before sending all forms to Church HQ in Charlotte, by the deadline of Monday, July 15.
DON’T MELT AWAY 5K – JULY 21 (Repeat Announcement):
Please continue to mark your calendars for the Don’t Melt Away 5K, Sunday, July 21, 2019 (also National Ice Cream Day!) at Waterfall Park, official address is 4501 S Bass Pro Drive, Independence, MO 64055, with the 5K Run starting at 8:00 AM and the Little Ice Cream Lover’s Run (for ages 12 and under) starting at 9:00 AM. Proceeds go to benefit the Living Youth Programs and the Local Church Activity Fund. We will still need volunteers like we have in the past. Please go to the website, dontmeltaway5K.com, for further information and to sign-up as a volunteer or to run in the race. Prices have been lowered for this year as shown on the website.
