PRAYER REQUEST (FOR ANNIE WILSON):

On Wednesday, June 28th, Mrs. Annie Wilson had an EGD (Esophago-Gastro-Duodeno-scopy) which showed that she had a hiatal hernia.  She also had a Colonoscopy where two pre-cancerous polyps were found and removed the same day.  Annie says she thanks God that the polyps were caught because they were close to being full-blown.  She has more lab/test results that she hasn’t received yet.  Annie continues to suffer from a lot of pain with swelling from her fibromyalgia, nerve damage, and rheumatoid arthritis.  Your continuing prayers for Annie are needed and very much appreciated.

NO JULY BIBLE STUDY:

Another reminder that Mr. Millich has advised that there will NOT be a Bible Study for the month of July, due to camps and activities previously scheduled.

FOOD SIGN-UP LIST FOR BERYL WILSON:

As a reminder, on the Information Table at the rear of the hall is a sign-up list for brethren willing & able to provide food dishes for Beryl Wilson & family during Beryl’s recuperation for her broken arm.  They continue to need assistance for a number of weeks.  Pam Taylor and Pauline Jersett have offered to deliver food dishes brought to services on the Sabbath.  If you have questions, please see or call Mrs. Alice Damon (see bulletin for her phone number).  Also, please continue to pray for Beryl’s comfort and rapid recovery!

FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR THE STIFFLERS:

Please join us next Sabbath, July 15th, immediately after services for cookies & punch, to say goodbye to the Stiffler Family.  They are moving to Michigan at the end of the month.  We will miss them very much, and this is a chance to tell them goodbye.

DON’T MELT AWAY 5K:

A reminder that the Don’t Melt Away 5K is next weekend, Sunday, July 16. Please sign up to volunteer through the website dontmeltaway5K.com.  We need volunteers to help serve ice cream, be race course guides, and man the water stations.  You can also run the race at 50% off by entering the coupon code LCG0717 when you register.  Go to dontmeltaway5K.com for more details, to volunteer, or register.  Proceeds go to benefit Living Youth Programs and the Kansas City Family Weekend.  Please see David Manning or Jacob Wilson if you have questions.

BRETHREN UNREGISTERED FOR FEAST:

As of last Wednesday, HQ reports that 62 KC brethren and/or family members have NOT registered for the Feast.  In a very few cases, parents have failed to include their small children or new babies when registering.  Also, if you think you registered for the Feast, but did not receive a confirmation email back from HQ, then it is likely you did not properly complete the on-line registration form before exiting.  In any case, not having registered makes it difficult for the Festival Coordinators to know how many to plan for, such as for hall seating, various activities, special luncheons, dinners, etc.  If you want to confirm whether you are, or ore not, on the unregistered list, please see or call Mr. George Damon, who has the list.

FESTIVAL ASSISTANCE:

A final reminder for brethren who have asked for a Festival Assistance Request form, but have yet to return it to Mr. Millich, this needs to happen immediately to allow for review & approval by Mr. Millich, and sending on to HQ.  All forms must be at HQ by July 17th.

FEAST RIDE:

For the Feast in the Ozarks, Ms. Dana Brookbank needs a ride to & from the Feast with someone who has space for an extra passenger and some luggage.  If you can accommodate Dana, please see or call our Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, cellphone 913-200-8662, for further details.
