The Youth Bible Class will meet today immediately after services, and will cover Lesson #9.
ANNOUNCEMENT SUBMITTALS FOR SABBATH – JUNE 23:
For those submitting approved announcements for next Sabbath, June 23rd, please email them to Mr. George Damon (gdamon@kc.rr.com) no later than 1:00 PM next Wednesday, June 20th, since Mr. Damon will be traveling & out-of-town for about a week thereafter. If there are last-minute vital announcements (such as prayer requests), please email them to Mr. John Wells (john@wellskc.com) no later than 6:00 PM next Thursday, June 21st, which will allow them to be included in the Sabbath Bulletin.
TEEN COOKOUT/BONFIRE & PIONEER CLUB MEETING – JUNE 23:
Looking ahead to next Saturday evening, June 23rd, there will be a Teen Cookout/Bonfire and a Pioneer Club Meeting at the Burson home, 1518 White Road, Bates City, MO 64011. The activities will consist of a Teen Cookout followed by a Bonfire Get-Together, and that followed by a Pioneer Meeting. The Pioneers will be meeting that evening to learn basic orientation using the stars, then we’ll zoom in on the heavens using a telescope. Event start-time and other details will follow as they become available.
DON’T-MELT-AWAY-5K – JULY 15:
Please save the date for July 15th to help out once again with Don’t-Melt-Away-5K. Proceeds go to benefit Living Youth Programs and the Kansas City Family Weekend. OZARKS FEAST RIDE REQUEST:
One of our Kansas City men needs a ride to & from the Feast in the Ozarks, and will be staying at the Quality Inn, 3501 Bagnell Dam Blvd. He hopes to find someone who will be driving to the Ozarks on Sunday, September 23rd (in time for the evening opening service), and returning to KC after the Last Great Day services on October 1st, or the morning after.
