HEALTH UPDATE – DICK FILBERT:
This health update is from Mr. Dick Filbert of the St. Joe Congregation: Wednesday of last week, I went to KU Med Center’s Cancer Center for a second opinion, which turned out to be very positive! The doctor did not feel I needed a bone-marrow test at that time. My platelets were up which is good. Last Monday, I had an appointment with my cancer doctor here in St Joseph. Again, my platelets were up and my white cells stayed the same. The Dr said I need to see her every three months, but if things get worse I will need to get the bone-marrow test. I want to thank the Great God who has made things improve and to thank all of you for your prayers, cards, and words of encouragement!
PRAYER REQUEST – KC AREA TWP:
Your prayers are requested that God would open the door to a suitable location in the Kansas City area for a future TWP (Tomorrow’s World Presentation). We have not been able to secure a reasonable location for a TWP in the Southwest side of the City. We have had some interest on the South and West side of the city with “Go-To’s” interested and looking for a congregation that would be a bit closer to their locations. Please pray with us as we look to God for His blessing on opening the doors to preach the Gospel of the coming Kingdom in our local area and with hopes to push westward over time.
