CHILDREN’S BIBLE LESSON CLASS:
The Children’s Bible Lesson Class will meet immediately after services today, in front of the stage, to go over Lesson 5.
FOT NOTEBOOK:
Referring to the Feast of Tabernacles white notebook on the information table, the notebook contains basic write-ups of the U.S. Feast sites. These, as well as International site write-ups, are also available on-line at fot2017.lcg.org. If you don’t have on-line access, or are unable to print, and would like a print-out of a site, please see Mr. George Damon. Also, please see Mr. Damon if you need assistance registering for the Feast.
DAYS OF ULB RECIPES:
To assist with planning for the Days Of Unleavened Bread, and for newer brethren, a section will be added to the local kclcg.org Website titled: “Days Of ULB Recipes.” If you have a favorite recipe you would like to share, please email it to John Wells, john@wellskc.com. An easy way to do so is to take a picture of the recipe with your smartphone and then email it to John. You can also hand-deliver it on the Sabbath to either John or Paula Wells. Please also indicate if you would like your name referenced to the recipe, or you prefer to have it listed anonymously. Deadline for submission is March 30th.
NTBMO:
The Night-To-Be-Much-Observed is Monday evening, April 10th. While families and small groups often get together in homes or restaurants, some may wish to join larger groups in private settings. Openings are available within three such groups. Information hand-outs and sign-up sheets for these groups are on the information table.
-Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse in Olathe, Kansas, is starting to fill-up but has remaining space for 6 brethren.
-Bonefish Grill in the northland of Kansas City, Missouri.
-Cass-Browning Community Center in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, limited to 50 brethren, featuring a covered-dish meal, with the host families furnishing the meat, salad, and drinks.
SPOKESMAN/GRADUATE CLUB
Attention club members. Club is scheduled for Saturday March 25th, club will begin at 7:35. Pease check the website for assignments if in doubt or check with club secretary Dustin Gooding.
UPDATE KANSAS CITY WEEKEND DEC 2016
This past year due to a higher than expected number of people participating in the Saturday evening Banquet a deficit occurred for the Family Weekend.
To make up the deficit we will be looking for fund raising opportunities in the upcoming months. This will not only be used to offset last year’s deficit but also to help defray costs for future Kansas City Family Weekends to keep the overall cost as affordable as possible.
