Local Announcements March 23, 2019

CHURCH FOOD PANTRY:
Thanks to all who have contributed to the Church Food Pantry.  The pantry is currently well-stocked, so we are NOT in need of further donations at this time.  The generosity of the brethren is much appreciated.  Please check with Dave or Jan Ostrom if you are in need of assistance from the food pantry.

TEEN PROGRESSIVE DINNER – TONIGHT:
The next Teen Activity is scheduled for TONIGHT, and will be a “Progressive Dinner.”  Information & addresses are available from Mrs. Sarah Wells.  We will have appetizers, main dish, and dessert with a “bond-fire” to end the evening.  Please make sure you confirm your attendance with Mrs. Sarah Wells so we can account for the correct number of participants.  This activity is for the teens and their families.

PIONEER KNOTS MEETING – TOMORROW:
The Pioneer meeting is TOMORROW, Sunday morning, 10:00 AM, at the home of Mr. Doug Burson.  This meeting will be going over knots and uses for knots.  Please bring your packs, manual, equipment, and water bottle.  Dress accordingly for the weather forecast.  Supplies will be handed out, as well as instructional sheets.  See you all there!

OPTIONS FOR NTBMO – APRIL 19:
1)  The Bodes have reserved a private room for the Night-To-Be-Much-Observed at EM Chamas, a Brazilian steak house located in the KC northland.  They have used this restaurant several times in the past.  On an information table in the hall will be a sign-up sheet, along with flyers regarding the location, meal information, and the total cost for various meal choices.
2)  A Covered-Dish Meal theme for the Night To Be Much Observed will be held at the Cass-Browning Community Center in Lee’s Summit, MO.  The host families will furnish the meat, salad, and drinks.  Seating will be limited to 40 brethren.  A sign-up sheet plus more information, can be found on an information table in the hall.
3)  You may wish to make your own NTBMO plans, such as with a small group in a relatively quiet room at a quality restaurant, or in your own home.
