Local Announcements March 30, 2019

PARENTS, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR CHILDREN ARE?
We have had some issues with your children playing (or rough-housing) in the hallways, particularly in the East Hallway.  Children should not be in the East Hallway unless there for a Youth Bible Lesson, or using the drinking fountains, or exiting the building.  Parents, please be aware of your children’s location and their activities.

CHURCH FOOD PANTRY (Repeat Announcement):
Thanks to all who have contributed to the Church Food Pantry.  The pantry is currently well-stocked, so we are NOT in need of further donations at this time.  The generosity of the brethren is much appreciated.  Please check with Dave or Jan Ostrom if you are in need of assistance from the food pantry.

BIBLE STUDY – APRIL 3:
Our Bible Study will be this coming Wednesday, April 3rd, starting at 7:30 PM (with doors opening no later than 7:00 PM), at the Sermon Center, Independence, MO, in the 4th floor meeting room.

COMBINED SPOKESMAN/GRAD CLUB LADIES-NIGHT – APRIL 6:
The Combined Club Ladies-Night Banquet will be held next Saturday evening, April 6th, at the Truman Memorial Building, 416 W Maple Ave, Independence, MO 64050.  We have the Presidential A/B rooms reserved from 6:00 PM onward, with dinner being served at 7:00 PM.  If you’re not assigned to set-up duty, plan to arrive by 6:30 PM when appetizers will be served.  For questions, see your club’s President, or for assignments and what to bring information, check with your club’s Secretary or look on-line at kclcg.org.

OPTIONS FOR NTBMO – APRIL 19:
1)  The Bodes have reserved a private room for the Night-To-Be-Much-Observed at EM Chamas, a Brazilian steak house located in the KC northland.  They have used this restaurant several times in the past.  On an information table in the hall will be a sign-up sheet, along with flyers regarding the location, meal information, and the total cost for various meal choices.
2)  A Covered-Dish Meal theme for the Night To Be Much Observed will be held at the Cass-Browning Community Center in Lee’s Summit, MO. The host families will furnish the meat, salad, and drinks.  Seating will be limited to 40 brethren.  A sign-up sheet plus more information, can be found on an information table in the hall.
3)  You may wish to make your own NTBMO plans, such as with a small group in a relatively quiet room at a quality restaurant, or in your own home.
