PIONEERS MEETING – TODAY
There will a Pioneers meeting 5 minutes after services in the hallway. Our next meeting is scheduled for next Sunday during the Memorial Day weekend at the Church campout at Perry Lake. Times and further instructions will be discussed at the meeting.

PERFUME & LOTION ISSUE:
On the Sabbath of May 5th, several brethren suffered adverse allergic reactions to someone nearby who had used perfume and/or was applying scented lotion at services.  Please show love to your neighbors at services who want to concentrate on the services, and avoid use of perfume, cologne, after-shave lotion, hand lotion, and other aromatic substances.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR PRACTICE & BIBLE CLASS – TODAY:
Before the Youth Bible Class today, there will be a very brief Children’s Choir practice immediately after services in the east hallway (near the water fountains). Afterward, the Youth Bible Class will be held and will cover Lesson #8

ASSISTANCE FOR BOB HARDEN:
Bob Harden, who is wheel-chair bound, at times needs assistance getting into Church services, as well as sometimes during the week with grocery shopping. While Larry Moluf has routinely been helping Bob, and Bob’s family members help at other times, Larry Moluf has moved to the Rolla, MO area, and there are times when Bob’s family are not available.  Therefore, if any of you brethren can occasionally help Bob in these situations, he would be very appreciative.  Please see Bob at Church services, or call him at home, 816-254-8739.

PENTECOST SERVICES – MAY 20th:
Pentecost services will be tomorrow, Sunday, May 20th, at the Adam’s Mark Hotel, 9103 E 39th St, K.C., MO 64133.  We will meet in the large meeting room on the Lobby Level.  Signage will be in place to identify our large meeting room, and mothers room.  Doors will be open at 9:00 AM for setup.  There will be TWO services, with the morning service beginning at 10:30 AM, during which an offering will be taken up, and the afternoon service beginning at 2:30 PM.  At the end of the day, we must vacate all rooms we are using by 5:30 PM, so be sure you have your belongings gathered up before 5:30 PM.

PENTECOST – LUNCH OPTIONS:
Between services, there will be a two-hour lunch break (12:30-2:30 PM).  Everyone will be on their own for lunch.  Since the hotel’s restaurant is still closed, you may wish to go to any number of nearby fast-food and sit-down restaurants.  Or you may bring in your own lunch, but only into our large meeting room and not in the hallways.  If you eat in our large meeting room, you cannot bring in tables, but you may move around chairs as long as you put them back in place when you finish eating.

PENTECOST OFFERING ENVELOPES:
For the Pentecost Holy Day offering taken-up tomorrow, please remember to use your green pre-coded Holy Day offering envelopes sent to you from HQ.  If you did not receive these envelopes or you forget to bring one with you, the ushers will have blank envelopes available.

CHURCH CAMP-OUT – MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND:
This is just a reminder for those who signed-up and paid for their camp space at the annual Church Camp-Out, that it is NEXT WEEKEND!, the 4-day Memorial Day Weekend, from Friday, May 25th thru Monday, May 28th, at the Longview Group Camp at Perry Lake, Kansas.  If you have any last-minute questions, call Craig or Liz Jeschke at 785-544-7798.

CHURCH PICNIC – JUNE 3rd:
COME ONE, COME ALL!  The annual Church Picnic and second annual Smoke-Off is just around the corner on Sunday, June 3rd, for a day of Fun, Fellowship, Food, and Smoked Treats from local experts vying for the top spot on the food chain.  There will be Children’s Activities, Horse Shoes, Ultimate Frisbee, Softball, and most importantly, Christian Fellowship.  Don’t miss it!  Those competing in the Smoke-Off please sign the list on the information table.  The Picnic will be at the same location as for the past several years, Baumgardner Park (main shelter house at NE corner of the park) in Blue Springs, MO.

BIBLE STUDY – JUNE 6th:
Our next monthly Bible Study will be Wednesday, June 6th, at the new location, the Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 N. Dodgion Street, Independence, MO 64050 (SE corner of Truman & Noland roads).  Doors to the 4th floor meeting room will open at least by 7:00 PM, with Bible Study starting at 7:30 PM.  When you enter the building, go past the reception desk, then down the hall to the elevator, and go up to the 4th floor’s only meeting room.

FEAST RIDES & ROOMMATES:
While it is presumed that most everyone has made their Feast arrangements by now, there may be a few who need a ride, or can offer a ride, to/from the Feast in the Ozarks, as well as a few who need a roommate to share expenses.  If this is the case for you, please see our local Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, who will try to pair you with others accordingly.
