RIDE TO THE FEAST (Repeat Announcement):
One of the women in the St. Joe Congregation is looking for a woman traveling companion to travel with her in her car, sharing driving time, to and from the Feast in the Ozarks next Fall.  She is also agreeable to sharing Feast housing if the other woman might want to.  If you or someone you know would fit this request, please see our Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, or call him at 913-200-8662.

GRAD CLUB & SPOKESMAN CLUB – TONIGHT:
Both Clubs, Graduate and Spokesman, will meet TONIGHT at the home of Mr. & Mrs. John Wells, 2329 NE Lake Breeze Lane, Lees Summit MO 64086.  The Graduate Club will meet in the main upstairs room; the Spokesman Club will meet downstairs in a designated room.  Doors will be open at 7:00 PM, with both meetings starting at 7:30 PM.  Assignments for both Clubs can be found on the kclcg.org website under the Resource Center tab, then click on the respective Spokesman and Grad Club pages; or see your Club’s Secretary.  A reminder that the “Three-T’s” (Topics, Toast, & Timer) for each Club are to bring deserts & their own personal drinks for the break.

JOPLIN ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT – MAY 19:
The Joplin congregation is once again hosting its annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, May 19th starting 7:30 AM, located at Rangeline Golf Center, 2001 N. Rangeline Road, Joplin, MO 64801.  The proceeds will be used to purchase select supplies for this year’s Missouri pre-teen camp. Entry fee is $45 per person, which includes 18 holes and golf cart.  Breakfast (starting at 7:00 AM) and lunch for players will also be provided. There will be trophies awarded to the first-place team, as well as prizes for longest putt made, longest drive, and closest to the pen.  Put a team of four together, or come as a single player and be placed on a team.  All men & women are welcome, starting at 14 years of age and above. CHURCH PICNIC – JUNE 2:
Our annual Church picnic is scheduled for Sunday, June 2nd, at the same location as for the past several years, Baumgardner Park in Blue Springs, MO.  Plan ahead by putting the picnic on your calendar!  Further details will follow soon.

DON’T MELT AWAY 5K – JULY 21
Please save the date for July 21 to help out once again with Don’t Melt Away 5K. Proceeds go to benefit Living Youth Programs and the Local Church Activity Fund. We will need volunteers like we have in the past. Please sign up to volunteer through the website dontmeltaway5K.com. You can also run the event. Prices have been lowered for this year. A discount is available to LCG members for 25% off by entering the coupon code GOLCG2019 when you register. Race begins at 8 am. Free ice cream and t-shirt for all runners and volunteers. If you’d like to help out the effort monetarily, but cannot be there race day morning, please talk to David Manning or Jacob Wilson.
