PRAYER REQUEST FOR ROBERT MATNEY:
Robert Matney would like the congregation to pray that God will heal his ankle. He was let go from his job because of this previous injury, so he certainly needs God’s intervention!
YOUTH BIBLE CLASS – TODAY:
The Youth Bible Class will meet today immediately after services at the stage, to cover Lesson #2.
PIONEER CLUB – TONIGHT:
Tonight is NOT an official meeting, but instead will be used to help those who need a little extra helping-hand with their pinewood derby cars. To assist those who may not have the tools, or who are a little intimidated by this project, we will assist with the rough cut-out of your cars tonight at the home of Mr. Doug Burson. The next official meeting for the Pioneers Club will be December 9th at 10:00 AM, location to be determined. Hope you are looking forward to the Pinewood Derby races! FOOD PANTRY STATUS:
We are in need of some food donations for the Church Food Pantry. Please check the “Best If Used By…” date on any items donated since the items may sit on the food pantry shelf for some time before they are actually used. Most food items are needed, but NO canned vegetables, please, since we have enough. In addition to food items, we could use some paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels. Food donations can be brought to Sabbath services and left by the Information Table. If you are in need of assistance from the food pantry, or if you know of any Church members in-need, please let Dave or Jan Ostrom know.
KC WEEKEND VOLUNTEERS:
Judges are needed for the “Contest of Christians” at the Kansas City Weekend. Please meet with Kirk Prince five minutes after services if you would like to volunteer. And remember, registration is open! Please sign up your family on the website and remember to select your meals and activities.
COFFEE VOLUNTEER SCHEDULE:
Scheduling of the 2019 coffee assignments is underway. Please let Stephen or Emily Erman know if you want to be added to or removed from the list. You can talk to either of them at church, or contact Stephen by phone 816-806-2464 or by email stephenerman@hotmail.com. We need to hear from you before the end of November. Thank you in advance for your service on the coffee crew!
KC Spokesman/Graduate Club:
First club meeting for Spokesman club is scheduled for Saturday Dec 15th and the first for Graduate club will be Saturday Dec 8th. First club assignments can be found this coming Tuesday on the kclcg.org website under the resource tab. If you still desire to join one of the two clubs, please see Mr. Jacob Wilson Club President for Spokesman or Mr. John Wells Club President for Grad Club.
