UPDATE ON KC WEEKEND VOLUNTEERS:
We still need more volunteers for the Kansas City Weekend, three areas in particular:
1) Brethren who can house visitors.
2) Volunteers to serve at the Information Booth on Friday and Saturday.
3) Judges for the Family Games on Sunday.
If you are able to serve in any of these ways, please add your name to the sign-up sheets on the Information Table.
PRAYERS & SIGN UP LISTS FOR JIM HUTCHINS:
In addition to your prayers for Jim Hutchins’ on-going knee issue, please consider the two sign-up sheets on the Information Table for brethren who can provide meals (or a main dish), and those who are able to visit at lunch-time on week-days, typically between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Mr. Jeff Sallaz has offered to drop off at the Hutchins’ home any cold or frozen dishes brought to Sabbath services. If you are personally dropping off food at the Hutchins’ home, or for men who can come by for a week-day lunch-time visit, please call before-hand so Jim will know to expect you; his phone is (816) 482-1734. There are also small hand-outs on the Information Table with Jim & Sherri Hutchins’ address and phone numbers.
SPOKESMAN/GRAD CLUB MEETING:
Tonight is the Combined Spokesman/Graduate Club, at the usual location, the Best Western Plus Hotel. If any reason you will not be able to attend, please see the Club’s secretary, Mr. Grant Manning, immediately after services.
