I never thought it would end like it did, but I’m glad God is working out His plan for each one of us. OBITUARY – STEVE HARDIN:
Steven Mitchell Hardin, 61, of Springfield, IL died Thursday, November 14, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 30, 1958, to Marshall and Annette Hardin in Springfield, IL. Steve married Theresa King, July 11, 2003, in Blue Springs, MO. Steve was a member of The Living Church of God. He worked as an electrician and general contractor for over 30 years and was president of two oil companies. He had an appreciation for art; enjoying pencil drawing, painting, photography, and music (playing the drums). He was also an experienced airplane pilot. He is preceded in death by his father, Marshall Hardin. Survivors include: his wife, Theresa Hardin of Springfield, IL; children, Meghan Svacina of Chatham, IL and Daniel Hardin of Springfield, IL; mother, Annette Hardin of Springfield, IL; brother, Rick Hardin of Chatham, IL; grandsons, Jaxon & Brayden Svacina; and nephews, Tyler & Trevor Hardin. A celebration of Steven’s life will take place Sunday, November 24, 2019, 1:00 PM at the Prairie View Reception Center in Chatham, IL with LCG Minister Irv Woelfle officiating. Steve will be laid to rest at a later date at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, IL.
BIBLE STUDY – DEC 4:
Our next monthly Bible Study will be Wednesday, December 4th, at the Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 N. Dodgion Street, Independence, MO 64050 (SE corner of Truman & Noland roads) in the 2nd Floor meeting room. Doors will open at least by 7:00 PM, with Bible Study starting at 7:30 PM.
SPOKESMAN & GRAD CLUBS – DEC 7:
The Spokesman & Grad Clubs will next meet Saturday evening, December 7th, at the home of John & Paula Wells, 2329 NE Lake Breeze Lane, Lee’s Summit MO 64086 (call John’s cell if you get lost, 816-729-8990).
