UPDATE ON JIM HUTCHINS:
This update from Sherri Hutchins: Good news about Jim; he is feeling and doing better! He’s strong enough to move to the couch now during the daytime. He has a Dr appointment Tuesday at 1:30 in Overland Park at the new Menorah Dr’s building off of 119th & Roe. Jim can make it to our vehicle on crutches now, and doesn’t need help doing so. The car’s back seat is just big enough for him to sit sideways and put his leg straight out (recall the steel rod that prevents bending his knee). Thanks to everyone for their prayers and for the meals brought to us!
NEED FOR KC WEEKEND VOLUNTEERS (REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENT):
We still need volunteers for the Kansas City Weekend, three areas in particular:
1) Brethren who can house visitors.
2) Volunteers to serve at the Information Booth on Friday and Saturday.
3) Judges for the Family Games on Sunday.
If you are able to serve in any of these ways, please add your name to the sign-up sheets on the Information Table.
PRAYERS & SIGN-UP LISTS FOR JIM HUTCHINS:
In addition to your prayers for Jim Hutchins’ on-going knee infection issue, please consider the two sign-up sheets on the Information Table, first for brethren who can provide meals or a main dish, and second for men who are able to visit at lunch-time on week-days, typically between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Mr. Jeff Sallaz has offered to drop off at the Hutchins’ home any cold or frozen dishes brought to Sabbath services. If you are personally dropping off food or visiting the Hutchins’ home, please call Jim before-hand so he will know to expect you; his phone is (816) 482-1734. There are also small hand-outs on the Information Table with Jim & Sherri Hutchins’ address and phone numbers.
COFFEE SERVICE SCHEDULE (REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENT):
Stephen Erman will be soon working on the Coffee Schedule for next year 2018. If anyone wants to be added or removed from the upcoming year’s schedule, please see Stephen Erman after services or email him at Stephenerman@hotmail.com or call him at 816-806-2464. Please let Stephen know by the end of November so he can get the schedule completed and out to you in a timely fashion.
DECEMBER BIBLE STUDY:
Our next Bible Study will be Wednesday, December 6th, beginning at 7:30 PM. Doors will be open by at least 7:00 PM. We will meet at the same location as previous Bible Studies and Spokesman Club, the Best Western Plus Hotel, 4825 NE Lakewood Way, Lees Summit, located between Lakewood Blvd and Woods Chapel Road on the East side of Hwy 291, directly behind the Summit Grill & Bar. Please attend if at all possible!

A reminder to those submitting approved Sabbath announcements to please email them to Mr. George Damon by Wednesday evening if at all possible, to allow compiling, editing, emailing, and then copying/printing of the Bulletin hand-outs by Mr. John Wells. However, emergency prayer requests can be sent by noon on Friday, but will not be included in the Bulletin.
