SETUP AFTER SERVICES TODAY:
After services today, brethren are asked to fully vacate the Main Hall, including all of your personal belongings, moving into the adjacent hallway. Doing so is necessary to allow the chairs & tables to be reconfigured for the social and dinner. Only the assigned set-up and kitchen crews are to be in the Main Hall during this time You will be called back into the Main Hall at about 4:30 PM.
DAYLIGHT SAVINGS FALL-BACK TONIGHT:
As a reminder, Daylight Savings Time ends tonight. It might be advisable to re-set your manual clocks back one-hour before going to bed tonight. Most clocks connected to the Internet or satellite, such as laptop & desktop computer clocks, cell phones & smart phones, update automatically. However, some do not, and require a re-boot or power off/on for the update to occur.
BIBLE STUDY – NOVEMBER 7:
Our monthly Bible Study will be this coming Wednesday, November 7th, at the Roger T. Sermon Community Center, 201 N. Dodgion Street, Independence, MO 64050 (SE corner of Truman & Noland roads) in the 2nd Floor meeting room. Doors will open at least by 7:00 PM, with Bible Study starting at 7:30 PM. When you enter the building, use the elevator across from the reception desk, and go up to the 2nd floor’s only meeting room.
PIONEER CLUB MEETING – NOVEMBER 17:
Pioneer club members, you have two weeks left to complete your model race cars. Don’t forget that you are working together on these as Father and son. Be creative and see what happens! Remember, NONE of the following are allowed: oil; after-market wheels or axles, turbos, co2 cartridges, rockets, or dynamite. However, you CAN: use graphite; polish your wheels & axles; and add weight to get up to the 5-ounce requirement. May the best car win; see you soon on the track! Time and place to be determined.
