AM ANNOUNCEMENTS (GIVEN BY MR. JONES):
CELLPHONES:
If you haven’t already done so, please turn OFF your cellphones during Church services, or at least set them to vibrate-mode-only mode. Thank you for your consideration for nearby brethren and for those speaking.
LUNCH BREAK:
Between services, there will be a 2-hour lunch-break (12:30 to 2:30 PM), allowing the following options:
1) Bring your lunch:
– Lunch in your car.
– Lunch in the school hallway. While we are NOT permitted to bring food or drinks (other than capped bottled water) into the Auditorium, space in the hallway is available if you bring your own small table; regular chairs in the Auditorium may be brought into the hallway, but need to be returned before afternoon services.
2) Buy your lunch at a nearby restaurant, such as those listed below (there are more to the south on Hwy 40):
– V’s Italiano Ristorante, 10819 E. US Hwy 40.
– La Fuente Mexican, 10839 E US Hwy 40.
– Pepper Jax Grill, 4179 Sterling Ave.
– Firehouse Subs, 4167 Sterling Ave.
SECURITY AND START-TIME FOR PM SERVICES:
During the lunch break, you may need to secure your personal belongings, since neither the Auditorium is not monitored as to security.
After the lunch break, afternoon services will begin at 2:30 PM, so try to be seated at least five minutes before the start of services.
ADULT CHOIR REHEARSAL:
For members of the Adult Choir, please meet at the stage immediately after the morning services for a short rehearsal.

NEXT SABBATH SERVICES:
For Kansas City brethren, as well as any visitors or travelers, our next regular Sabbath service will be June 10th, and located at our temporary summer location, Glendale Elementary School, 2611 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, Missouri, with services starting at 1:00 PM.
AFTER SERVICES TODAY:
After services today, you are welcome to stay and fellowship. However, we need to fully vacate the entire School building by 6:00 PM. When you leave, be sure to account for all of your belongings, such as may be on or under adjacent chairs. Also, please pick up and discard any trash you find in your area.
