PRAYER REQUEST – MELISA MOLUF’S PREGNANCY:

Peder & Melisa Moluf are requesting prayers regarding Melisa’s pregnancy.  An ultrasound revealed an abnormality around the baby’s head & neck that the doctor said COULD BE a fluid-filled sac known as a “Cystic Hygroma.”  This type of diagnosis can increase the risk of miscarriage or lead to birth complications.  Peder & Melisa ask that you please pray that God will intervene in the health of their child, and show them what course-of-action they should take.

PRAYER REQUEST – WALTER COOK:

Last Sabbath, September 7th, Mr. Walter Cook, who lives in Harrisonville MO, was attacked by a troublesome neighbor who threw a large metal trash can at him, causing severe abdominal injuries, and emergency medical care.  The perpetrator was later arrested by police and charged with assault.  Your prayers are requested for God’s healing of Walter’s injuries, and rapid recovery.  AS A SEPARATE ISSUE:  Although Walter has a ride to & from the Lake of the Ozark before & after the Feast, circumstances have changed such that he also needs a daily ride to/from the Feast site from his motel, the Quality Inn, located at 3501 Bagnell Dam Blvd., Lake Ozark MO 65049.  If you are also staying at the Quality Inn (or another motel in the area) and can offer Walter a daily ride, please see Mr. George Damon who can put you in touch with him.

HEALTH UPDATE – BERYL WILSON:

As of last Thursday evening, Ron Wilson reports that Beryl will stay at St. Luke’s East Hospital while her infected gall bladder is being treated with antibiotics.  Since gall stones are NOT present in this case, removal of the gall bladder is on-hold, since the infection appears to be due not to the gall bladder itself, but rather due to the body’s reaction to two root canals done the day before Beryl went into the hospital.  The Dr’s are monitoring the gall bladder’s bile output and are hopeful that the gall bladder will recover and not have to be removed.  Your continuing prayers are very much appreciated!
