Local Announcements April 21, 2018

YOUTH BIBLE LESSON:

The Youth Bible Class will not meet today, but the youth are assigned to study, on their own, the Spring Holy Day Lesson #7.

FEAST REGISTRATION:

Haven’t yet registered for the Feast?  Please do as immediately!  If you are still unsure of your Feast site choice, please register for your assigned site (Lake of the Ozarks) for now.  But if you are sure you cannot attend the Feast this year (such as for health reasons), please register but click on the “Not Able to Attend” choice.  For those who do not have Internet service, please notify our local Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, of your desired Feast site and your PIN (Personal Identification Number), so he can register for you; his cell phone is 913-200-8662, and email is gdamon@kc.rr.com.

FOT NOTEBOOK:

Referring to the Feast of Tabernacles white notebook on the Information Table, the notebook contains basic write-ups of the U.S. Feast sites.  These, as well as International site write-ups, are also available on-line at fot2018.lcg.org.  If you don’t have on-line access, or are unable to print, and would like a print-out of a site, please see Mr. Damon.

PIONEER CLUB & TEEN ACTIVITY RE-SCHEDULED:

The Pioneer Club & Teen Activity will be held Sunday April 29th in Shelter #2 in Pink Hill Park, Blue Springs, Missouri.  Pioneer Club will meet at 12:00 Noon at Shelters #2, followed by a hike at Burr Oaks Park (right next to Pink Hill Park).  The Pioneer club members will have a “Bring your own lunch” after the meeting & hike.  IF you want to eat prior to the activity you can do so, or perhaps bring a snack for afterwards, that would be fine as well.  The Teen Activity will begin at 2:00 PM with a “Bring your lunch” or snack, followed by Ultimate Frisbee for the whole family as well as the Pioneer Club kids & family.  For the Ultimate Frisbee activity, we would like to open this up to young adults as well.  Shelter #2 has been reserved from 12:00 Noon to 6:00 PM.

Directions and Address:  Pink Hill Park, 2715 NW Park Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64015.  Located North of I-70 on 7 Highway.

SABBATH VOLUNTEER DRIVERS:

If anyone is willing & able to help with transporting church members to & from Sabbath services here in the Kansas City area, please sign-up at the Information Table.   Your service to these members will greatly be appreciated!  We have several members who do not drive any longer or don’t have a car to get to services, and would love a ride to & from if possible.   For more information, please see Mr. Millich or Mr. Jacques.
