PRAYER REQUEST: RUSH KING
Frankie Lee has requested prayers for her great grandson, Rush King.
The doctors have now reported Rush has cancer in both lungs and more spots on his liver.
He has been on adult chemo for a week.
PRAYER REQUEST: MAYNARD TAPP:
Maynard and Cathy Tapp live in Neemah, Wisconsin and are members of the Appleton church. Mr. Tapp suffers from bleeding from the colon and in 2012 had a tumor removed from the top of his head and now holes are opening up the size of your index finger all around the top of his head. The doctors want to re-do the 2012 surgery. Maynard and Cathy have decided against surgery due to other health issues and have put his life in God’s hands for His divine intervention and healing. They know God will heal Maynard, if that is His will and will accept whatever is God’s will. They know God hears all prayers and are asking for as many brethren as possible to pray for God’s intervention and healing.
Maynard and Cathy both thank everyone for their prayers and love at this time.
So do I.
Sincerely Polly Best
UPDATE AND PRAYER REQUEST JASON SCARBOROUGH:
Jason has been home recovering since last week and is still in significant pain from the surgery. In addition to the larger growth’s that were removed there are two smaller ones that remain. Results from the Pathology report are pending and will determine how the Doctor’s proceed. Jason requests your continuing prayers.
UPDATE AND PRAYER REQUEST: BERYL WILSON:
Good news has been received about Beryls broken arm. Xrays taken by the surgeon show the two bones have slipped into alignment due to the weight of her arm pulling down on the shoulder. Surgery is not necessary at this time. The bones should grow back together but will be a slow painful recovery. More x-rays in 2 weeks. Thank you for your continuing prayers, I know God hears them and is speeding the healing process.
FOOD SIGN-UP LIST FOR BERYL WILSON:
As a reminder, on the Information Table at the rear of the hall is a sign-up list for brethren willing & able to provide food dishes for Beryl Wilson & family during Beryl’s recuperation for her broken arm. They continue to need assistance for a number of weeks. Pam Taylor and Pauline Jersett have offered to deliver food dishes brought to services on the Sabbath. If you have questions, please see or call Mrs. Alice Damon (see bulletin for her phone number).
LAKE OF THE OZARKS FEAST SITE UPDATE:
After a recent visit to the Country Club Hotel and Spa we are not confident they will be ready for business before the Feast 2017. A final determination in this matter will be made during the third week of August. The good news is that we do have another venue reserved very close by, so no one should lose their housing deposit. At this point, we do encourage people, mainly those who have transferred into the Ozarks, to attend one of the other Feast sites if possible – this will help with the seating problems should we have to meet at the new (smaller) venue. If you would like to attend another Feast site you are welcome to re-register preferably at a Feast that has not been closed. If however you would like to attend one of the sites that has been closed (except N. KY) you could email Mark Smith at msmith@lcg.org who will be able to facilitate your transfer.
FAREWELL RECEPTION FOR THE STIFFLERS:
Please join us today immediately after services for cookies & refreshments, to say goodbye to the Stiffler Family.
DON’T MELT AWAY 5K:
A final reminder that the Don’t Melt Away 5K is tomorrow, Sunday, July 16. For more details visit the dontmeltaway5k.com website or see David Manning or Jacob Wilson if you have questions.
FEAST RIDE:
For the Feast in the Ozarks, Ms. Dana Brookbank, Shirley Coakley, and Susan Olson needs a ride to & from the Feast. If you can accommodate any of these (note they do not need to ride together) please see or call our Festival Advisor, Mr. George Damon, cellphone 913-200-8662, for further details.
